The short answer is: yes, but not nearly the level of sulforaphane that's in BROQ.

You'd have to eat approximately three pounds of raw broccoli a day to get the equivalent of one daily serving of BROQ. (Cooking greatly reduces the amount of sulforaphane.)

And, even then, you won't know how much you're getting, as there's a lot of variability due to freshness and growing conditions.

If you're prepared to do the work, yes, you can get as much sulforaphane as in a daily serving of BROQ.

However, the high level of sulforaphane in BROQ does affect factors closely tied to aging:

(1) Oxidative stress is strongly associated with aging. (Source) Sulforaphane is the most potent natural molecule that actives NRF2, which reduces oxidative stress. (Source)

(2) Inflammation is the single most important driver of human aging. Virtually all people who live to be 100 have very low inflammation.​ Sulforaphane has been shown, in multiple studies, to significantly reduce markers of inflammation, such as C-reactive protein and IL-6. (See sources here.)

(3) Autophagy is the body’s way of cleaning out damaged cells to make way for new ones.​ “Auto” means self and “phagy” means eat; so, literally, the word describes cells eating themselves. ​Autophagy is the primary source of the many health benefits of fasting.​ Sulforaphane has been shown to promote autophagy (without fasting). Sulforaphane is now one of the most actively studied dietary compounds in existence.

New findings about sulforaphane are being published regularly.

One serving of BROQ is two capsules, which contain a total of 20mg of sulforaphane.

Many studies have found significant benefits from this amount of sulforaphane.

A number of studies used a daily dosage of 60mg of sulforaphane, the equivalent of six capsules of BROQ.

Those studies found substantial benefits without any notable adverse effects.

We recommend taking BROQ with meals, to avoid minor stomach discomfort that might occur otherwise.

If you're taking more than two capsules daily, split the dosage across meals.

Time of day is not important.

BROQ contains highly bioactive sulforaphane. (The word "bioactive" simply means that the sulforaphane will enter circulation in your body.)

To maintain full potency, keep refrigerated after opening.

Keep BROQ away from heat sources and prolonged direct sunlight.

One word: bioavailability.

The sulforaphane in BROQ is 70% bioavailable, meaning that the expected amount of sulforaphane that will enter circulation in your body after you take one serving is 70% of what the capsules contain.

When you take a supplement containing precursors, bioavailability will be 30% (if it contains the enzyme myrosinase) or 10% (if it doesn't contain myrosinase).

This product does not contain dairy, soy, corn, yeast, or sugar. 100% vegan. Every batch undergoes rigorous quality control to ensure that it meets the product specifications.

The sulforaphane in BROQ is fully stable when kept refrigerated.

At room temperature, the level of sulforaphane may decrease by around 2% per month.
